Ag-Power Athens 5,000-square foot facility has been in place since 1960, having once been a John Deere store. Ag-Power acquired it in August of 2009, to the delight of many anxious customers excited to have an Ag-Power in their little town, which is largely agricultural. The Athens store serves a loyal agricultural customer base. This store has 10 employees with 100-years of combined experience.

“I started with Ag-Power in 1993 handling general maintenance at the Terrell store. By 1994 I was assigned as a parts counter person, and moved up to Parts Lead in 1998. In 2002 I was moved into the Sales Department, and in 2008 was assigned as Sales Lead for both the Terrell and Mineola stores. Finally, August 2009 I became General Manager and Sales representative for the newly-acquired Athens store".
